Today we’re incredibly excited to launch a big new update to Ember on both iOS and Mac. We’ve brought the same powerful annotation tools from Ember for Mac to iOS, added some new tools to the mix (Blur and Pixelate) and these new tools are also available on the Mac.
Also new on iOS is Screenshot Auto-Import. Once enabled, Auto-Import will ensure that any screenshots in your Camera Roll are added to your Ember library and synced to iCloud. It even works with Background App Refresh.
There’s also over 50 new features and improvements in Ember for Mac v1.3 - the new library backup feature allows you to store a backup of your Ember library on an external drive (or any other folder) and as always we’ve refined lots of different areas of the app (including the ability to only show new images in Subscriptions). This huge new update to Ember for Mac is available as a free update now on the Mac App Store!
Ember for iOS v1.1 is available now. Annotations and Auto-Import are available as In-App Purchases, priced $4.99 and 99¢ respectively, enabling you to annotate and auto-import from any of your iOS devices.
We’re already hard at work on the next feature update, and can’t wait to share more details with you soon!
