Core Annotation

Blur

If you've got information within a snap (perhaps a username or password) that you'd rather not reveal when you share a snap, then the blur tool allows you to hide the relevant area with style without resorting to clumsy coloured blocks. You can also resize the blurred area to you liking, as well as customise the blur intensity depending on your needs.

Vector Shapes

If you need to draw shapes over an image, LittleSnapper's non-destructive vector shape tools will come in handy. There's squares, circles and lines to choose from, and up to three different fill options (outline, fill and blur) depending on the tool you choose - not to mention easy colour and stroke-width selection.

Arrows

Need to state the obvious, and point the viewer to a specific item in an image? That's where LittleSnapper's handy arrow tool comes into its element. Naturally curvy for that 'hand-drawn' effect, always editable, and available in any colour or stroke width, they're ideal for showing steps to follow in an image.

Text & Callouts

LittleSnapper's text tools making writing on your snaps easy. There's all the usual options you'd expect such as fully customisable fonts & colours, and the freedom to place the text absolutely anywhere you want.

We also know that sometimes there's simply not enough room to fit all the text you need into a snap. That's why we've also built in the handy callouts option that allows you to add numbered callouts to any area of an image. You can then use either the linked text field to describe the callout, or simply the callouts as a way to link footnotes to areas of an image.

Crop

If you need to crop a snap to a pixel-perfect size, the new and improved Crop tool is just the ticket. Non-destructive and always editable, it's the best way to show & export only the area you require.

  • Vector Annotations

LittleSnapper's 7 powerful annotations are all vector-based, and as they're non-destructive can be edited at any time.

From shapes to text and callouts, there's a full toolkit for quickly marking up snaps.

  • Blurs and more

If you need to hide sensitive information in a snap, the Blur tool lets you stylishly hide the information without ruining the aesthetic of the snap with a coloured block.

Highlight

If you've ever wanted to draw someone's attention to an area of a snap, and thought that garish arrows or large-point Impact Bold were perhaps the wrong way to do it you'll love the super-slick Highlight tool.

Simply clicking and dragging fills the image, apart from your selected area, with a semi-transparent overlay - and you can keep 'cutting out' areas from the overlay until all the desired areas are highlighted. As you'd expect, all the highlighting is done non-destructively, so you can always come back and edit the areas later on.
