What do you use LittleSnapper for?
I use LittleSnapper for gathering little bits of inspiration. Pictures, parts of layouts, smart ideas, colours I like, typography I like, entire layouts, applications… Everything gets thrown into LittleSnapper and tagged for later reference.
What is your favourite feature?
“The fact that [LittleSnapper’s] interface looks delicious weighs heavily to me loving it. It's really a piece of software crafted with love.
It's hard to choose just one feature but I really love the fact that LittleSnapper grabs the entire page. I also like the fact that it uses simple shortcuts that are very similar to the default Mac OS X screenshot ones, making it easy to learn.
Which features have been the most useful?
Snap web address [from the menu bar icon], tagging, smart collections. Maybe this sounds a bit odd, but the fact that the interface looks delicious (no pun intended), weighs heavily to me loving it. It's really a piece of software crafted with love. I use 3 different kinds of smart collections: single tags for quick access to general snaps, multiple tags for more specific kinds of snaps that build the most beautiful collections, and one that collects all of my Websnaps into one place. Basically I use Smart Collections because I'm too lazy to use the search function. I love browsing through snaps too, even when I'm not looking for something specific.
How has your workflow improved?
It's great, I use smart collections for tags or combinations of tags, and regular collections for certain projects. If a client provides me with photos, logos or other graphical elements, I put them in the same collection so I've got everything in one place.
Anything else you'd like to add?
Yeah: Where do I enter my credit card details?
