RapidWeaver

RapidWeaver consistently receives excellent reviews from the Mac press. The 3 major Mac magazines in the UK all awarded RapidWeaver 4 stars out of 5 or above. Have you got something nice to say about RapidWeaver?

Great support for blogging, incremental posts, pictures, photos blogs and movies. This just knocks the spots of the competition.
I use Rapidweaver for all my personal and friends' sites now. I've gone from a serious PHP/MySQL powered CMS system to Rapidweaver. Why? Cause it is WAY faster. The dragging and dropping and superfast publishing is what makes it beat a CMS system.
I worked with your program last night, and in a matter of few hours I had most of the major portions of our department's website completely revised. I have hand-coded websites, but after using RapidWeaver, I can't imagine ever doing that again (though it is nice to know that I have the option of writing a little XHTML if I want). I can't wait to delve into creating my own templates and some of the other more advanced features of the program. This is program was worth every penny (or pence).
The simplicity belies the complexity and i love that!
My university colleagues are impressed with what RW can do (those who have websites--and most do not--have created very rudimentary sites...largely for lack of a readily usable tool, the learning curve for such apps as Dreamweaver being too steep). So, long story short, my thanks to you for RW. It is transforming my teaching in ways that are all to the good.
I just wanted to let you folks know how much I enjoy RW. I've been a Mac user since the mid-1980s and haven't been so excited/enjoyed a piece of software since Pagemaker 1. You should be proud of your product and even more so of the community which has grown up around it, one of the most supportive I've seen in these 20 years.
It's a fantastic piece of software, and I'm pointing other people at it every day. I just don't have time to learn new pieces of software, and Dreamweaver has sat in my applications folder for 2 years without me touching it, so RapidWeaver has been a godsend!
I've been using RapidWeaver for nearly 3 years. As a tech support specialist it's my responsibility to know what to use and recommend the best apps in each of their categories. RapidWeaver has been the best utility in it's category. As the web has changed and competing products have been released RapidWeaver has stayed way ahead of the curve, which is why I use for my personal and business sites as well the dozens of client sites.
RapidWeaver is soooo easy to use. Even for someone like me with no knowledge (I have a great teacher though). In no time - less than a couple hours - I was designed, hosted and live. It was so easy to design a professional, simple website - I just couldn't believe it. I have seen my ex-husband (teacher) design with Dreamweaver and Fireworks and been amazed by what he could do. So I knew this was out of my league. Boy was I ever wrong.
On April 28th my expensive programmer decided that he was more suited to a career in professional music, and left me holding a complex site with a content management system (CMS), a very busy forum, a chat room, a wiki, and a few other sundry PHP, Javascript, and plain HTML pieces that had grown over the previous 3 years. Your free RapidWeaver trial, and insanely low price for the live product, meant I had no risk when I bought it in the vague hope it would add some value. By the end of that same weekend I had completely redeveloped the site, from scratch - and without any prior knowledge of RapidWeaver. RapidWeaver let me create a much better logical structure, and replace the CMS with a far more intuitive interface. And it looks so much better! (My 2500 strong community agrees.) Bottom line: I can now go from weird new idea to working website in 24 hours - and it takes that long only because the new domain name needs to find its way into all the name servers! RapidWeaver is an astoundingly good product - very simple, but allowing the rest of us to look like design geniuses. I hope you guys are around as long as I am on the web.
