Where we’re at with Reminders

As many of you know, we’ve been working on the next major feature update to Clear: Reminders. As we wrap up work on the iOS and Mac releases, I just wanted to let you know where we’re at. The team has been working incredibly hard to make this happen, however we also want to make reminders as intuitive as possible - and that means we’ve been constantly tweaking and refining how things work. The changes mean we’ve over-run from our (already-delayed) March launch - and we’re now looking to release the updates in early April. We know that some of you were eagerly awaiting this update, and we’re sorry to disappoint those of you expecting the update this month: we simply want to make sure everything’s just right!

There’s one other popular feature request that we’re bringing to Clear: the ability to customise the sounds. To make that possible two all-new sound packs will be launching with the reminders update - free to Clear+ customers, and available via In-App Purchase for all other iOS customers. As In-App Purchases can’t be shared between iOS and OS X, we’re making it incredibly easy on the Mac: Clear for Mac will come with both new sound packs for free. For more details on how Clear+ users can ensure they receive these sound packs for free check our FAQ.

We’ve been overwhelmed by your support for Clear in the last few months, and we’re incredibly excited to launch these updates next month. In the meantime, be sure to follow Clear on Twitter for all the latest news.

We’re a small team, eight to be exact, and having so many products has taken its toll on us. During the course of this year, i…
